How to use
Review or enter the available character, skill and equipment inputs.
Choose AoE mode for farming or Boss mode for single-target comparison.
Inspect total DPS and the normal-versus-skill breakdown.
Save a snapshot locally if you want to compare scenarios later.
See where the damage estimate comes from
The Damage Calculator breaks a community-tool estimate into total DPS, normal attack DPS, skill DPS, attack speed, critical inputs and per-skill contributions. That breakdown is more useful for build comparison than a single unexplained total.
Use the current readable values when available or enter manual inputs to test a proposed skill, training or equipment setup. The original Helper calculation behavior remains the basis of the view.

AoE and Boss modes answer different questions
AoE mode is useful when comparing farming-oriented damage, while Boss mode focuses the comparison on a single target. Switching modes does not turn the output into an official combat log; it changes the scenario used by the existing calculator.
For a more complete decision, pair the result with Skill Tree, Equipment and Farming rather than choosing a build from DPS alone.
